·          OBJECTIVES :

The boardobjectives set for deferent phases of the various programmes are different butthe following are common:-

 

 

i)                   Development ofmicro-level infra structural facilities

ii)                 Promotion of local resources tofunction as self-sustaining development units.

iii)               Promotion of women organizationand women enterprise.

iv)               Integration of crop cultivation,agri-horticulture, agro-forestry, livestock rearing and fish culture andincrease their production.

v)                 Training potential rural youthsin acquiring skill suited to their needs, priorities and capabilities.

vi)               Building confidence among thetarget groups to create their own resources and recycle those in sequentialmanner for sustainability.

vii)             Overall improvement ofsocio-economic condition of the target community including basic healthmeasures, education, empowerment etc.
